Osmium Microcontroller
Pulsiv has chosen to partner with tier 1 global semiconductor manufacturers who offer devices with the relevant suitable technical features. We’re agnostic to which microcontroller architecture and device is used subject to the necessary technical capabilities.
The lead-time is very much dependant on the required quantity. For large volume requirements, please contact Pulsiv directly.
Pulsiv has partnered with a number of stocking distribution partners. Please check our Where to Buy page to locate a stockist in your region.
In theory, this is possible for high volume OEM’s. However it is subject to a number of conditions. Please contact Pulsiv for a discussion.
The reel size for the QFN24 is 250pcs or 3000pcs.
This chip is approved for general industrial/consumer applications. For Automotive, Military & Aerospace requirements, please contact Pulsiv for a discussion.

Osmium Circuit Configuration
Yes. Using the components recommended by Pulsiv, the circuit configuration can achieve an input voltage range of 85VAC to 305VAC. However, customers have the flexibility to choose alternative components to support a wider input voltage range.
Pulsiv offers the PSV-AD-250-DS development system for customer evaluation which is available to order online through a select number of stocking distributors. Please check the datasheet of this development system for all included features/functions.
No. Pulsiv provides the necessary design guides for customers to build their own solution by combining a Pulsiv circuit configuration with a DC-DC converter.
Pulsiv recommends Flyback, Interleaved Flyback and Current Source Topologies. Customers can choose the DC-DC converters used in Pulsiv’s reference designs or follow the design guidelines to interface their own.
Yes. Pre-compliance testing to EN55022/55032 Class B has been successfully achieved with a considerable margin (A complete power supply design would require full compliance testing).
Yes. Please follow the necessary guidelines in Pulsiv’s PSV-AD-XX Microcontroller datasheet.
Our technology provides isolation that will come from the follow on DC-DC converter.
Osmium Reference Designs
No. Pulsiv only builds power supplies to evaluate performance. We provide the necessary design guides to allow customers to build their own power supplies.
Please contact Pulsiv for a discussion.
No. Pulsiv has tested paper reference designs in a lab environment and provides the necessary documentation for customers to build their own.
Evaluation systems will soon be made available for full reference designs. Please contact Pulsiv.
